TS, judging from the way you listed many irrelevant points, I
suppose you have not enlisted?
You listen to stories from your friends or peers about all the
scary aspect of NS and you developed some kind of pseudo hatred for
SAF imagining it to be some corrupted twisted organisation out just
to torture enlistees like yourself? Well you are right to
think so because they are, and you are going to get
it.
Assuming you can survive the change parade that you fear so much,
you probably won't make it past being dunked into the water by your
commanders or instructors and that is provided you survive the
horrible cookhouse food (yes they have sand in the vegetables).
Deaths are unexplained and common in the army after all your body
can just be buried easily in the jungle (after your sergeants
torture you first)
Now seriously, you have not served a day of national service. Why
are you so determined to be a negative nancy? Why do you assume the
system is unjust? Why are you so sure your sergeants will kick and
torture you? Go in. Serve first before making your judgements here
..... provided you make it out alive of course.
