Our Airbases, how do they respond against military threats?

last SG · 2007-04-07T22:36:12+00:00

Patriot missile? The you-know-who airforce will be We can hit them while they are taking off! Or at the very least, hit them while they are still far, far,...

dork3d SG

No system in the world is foolproof... Even with our multi-tier air defence layers, there still can be possibility that can slip through...

In 1945 when Japanese launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbour, the radar man perceived the Japanese airplanes as flocks of birds...

We have FDS to defend our airbases, trust them in doing a good job...

beavan SG

still, it’s a big base with a very long perimeter.

dork3d SG

If you can see a target approaching from far on your radar screen that can scans a radius of 100 nautical miles at a rate of one rpm, the FDS and our aircrafts will be scrambled to meet them...

Fatshort SG

thats different, USA need a reason to join WW2... so they let pearl habour for the jap as bait..

ya, trust FDS, ADA ... etc... next time see them do weekendnight duty, buy them drink or food Smile

alvin-ncs SG

u mistaken...

they show a toy model...

but mine is under the FDS building...

always ready to fight...^^

alvin-ncs SG

ProudlySingaporean SG

heh?i nvr say anything about the west area what...hmmm...what's so special about the west area? Rolling Eyes

airgrinder SG

on attack, all force-shields will be up. Destroids teams will be up, consisting of gladiators, execabilers, and fully loaded spartans for defence. Within 2 mins, if need be, fighters will be launched, (usually mixture of VF1S and VF1F).

Our entire force is more then adequate. Even 4 million zentradi warships are no match.

Cool

soulwinner SG

This is a top serect and are not for open disscusion….

norm SG

nowadays anti aircraft missiles are so powerful, how do our fighter and bomber pilots survive any mission?

ProudlySingaporean SG

by mission planning, effective ECM and jamming, stealth(not yet applicable to us), network-centric approach utilising UAVs and AWACS…best of all use UCAVs for dangerous strike missions

allentyb SG

my old camp, is in charge of the first line defense, and it is in the west area......

ProudlySingaporean SG

sigh.....

you knew very little about rsaf

i shall not divulge too much about what is in the west side

and between, 40 km is enough to cover the whole singapore

so i don't know what you are talking about

and lastly, there is a radar camp in the west, so i doubt you really understand the meaning of, don't divulge too much information about the saf

so lastly, you are just a recruit, i shouldn't waste too much of time at all

after all, you know nothing about the rsaf at all

allentyb SG

its not out there, alot of things are classified and i shall not divulge anything at all, and furthermore this is a forum, and i doubt you know much also
