Go ahead and get your medical correct. if it is a real problem,
you will not be penalised for downgrading. there are a lot of jobs
in the SAF, so you can still be useful till the end of your
contract.
MTE is for contract service only. it basically means that your NSF
(full-time)liability is counted differently, ie. not just 2 years.
if you have to pay back every single cent, it would means that you
are serving NSF, so should revert back to 2 years' count. Anyway, a
contract is a contract, and paying back option, whilst available,
cannot be compelled to take place.
have a heart-to-heart talk with your Captain. serving the Army is
just another job, and there is no need for him to make life
extremely unpleasant for you. you can go to your CO to take you
away from your Captain. But if you encounter problems with your new
Boss, it may mean that the problem lies with you.
