mhcampboy SG this is from ns.sg.... As a NSman, you do not require an Exit Permit if your overseas trip is less than 6 months. However, you are required to notify your unit of your overseas trip through your Notification Centre as follows: maybe i never inform NC?

fudgester SG I should think so. Not notifying the Mindef notification center is a chargeable offence as well. All I have to say is that you were pretty unlucky to get caught... most people I know don't bother notifying Mindef of their overseas trips. I suppose all you can do is appeal... but otherwise, I don't see how any of us can help.
