Will you go?
In a multi-million dollar deal
signed this morning between JEM and the "Dead Or Alive" franchise,
it has been confirmed that the shopping mall will be the setting
for the world's first "escape-to-survive" theme park.
CEO of the "Dead Or Alive"
franchise, Mr Tonako Kaninabu said in a press conference, "We've
looked all around the world for a suitable venue and we've chosen
JEM because of it's outstanding track record. From car catching
fire in its carpark, to ceiling suddenly collapsing, sprinklers
malfunctioning causing a downpour and glass randomly shattering,
these are all features we seek to integrate into our survival theme
park and JEM has all of them already. It's like we can even move in
tomorrow and we'll be ready."
What sealed the deal between the
two companies was supposedly the latest incident two days ago where
two diners were splashed with black, dirty and smelly sewage water
because of a faulty pipe. The fact that the whole incident caught
the diners by surprise and made them scream showed that JEM has
what it takes to become the world's first "escape-to-survive" theme
park.
A humble Robert Jin Hao
Lian, Managing
Director of JEM attributed the success to his amazing team, "I
cannot be more proud of my team for putting this together. In a short span of
two years since we opened the mall, we've clocked up more incidents
at JEM than all the other malls in Singapore combined. Amazing
achievement."
He went on to add saying "The real
challenge was coming out with a new 'incident' every few months to
keep the ideas fresh and exciting for our shoppers. Just think
about it, making a sewage pipe filled with black and dirty shit
burst exactly while diners are having dinner and making sure that
they are sprayed right in their faces. Can you imagine how much
planning and sleepless nights it took?"
Seems like residents staying in
Jurong East are in for more "exciting" treats from JEM. Will you be
one of those who will go to the new Dead Or Alive
"escape-to-survive" theme park?
