alwaysdisturbed SG no longer pro rated la. i wanted to extend last oct before i ord but was told i'll be given nsf pay. edit: sign on for 6 months.
KoolKool SG no one is indispensable, I don't think Minister will ask CDF not to retire if his time is up. So, what appointment holder is so important to justify an extension ?
ah-soh SG I have heard that some ppl extend their ORD because of NDP. Of course there are some ppl who extended their ORD because of DB or Changi Prison. I think there's a guy in my active unit last time who extended his ORD date due to family reasons (both of His parents dead before he enlisted)
alwaysdisturbed SG haiya, i think the term used is a bit wrong. its not extend ord date. its signing on for 6 months or 1 year.
Gordonator SG unless they promote u to CPL. (judging by old system whereby CPL and above must serve 2.5 years) anyway why do u wanna extend? miss your unit?
nanren4ever SG My friend extended his ORD pay, but only because his ship went Iraq, and the return date exceeds his ORD date. So they pay him 3rd sergeant REGULAR pay.
