Carbine90 SG absolutley. my sis is a navy combat officer though. she left singapore after commissionin to LT , went to Manchester Uni to upgrade herself + saf overseas scholarship. the training seems to be fun and i never hear my sis complain bout the trainings. if you want to go overseas often , be an air force pilot or navy is the best.
KoolKool SG Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. Yes, most work in non-related vocations, such as Insurance Salesmen, Housing Agents, and Taxi Drivers. Know some that went to MOE, MHA or NUSAF in MINDEF. Of course, there are minority who ventured further.
mhcampboy SG Ya true... My previous div comd is now ceo of a shipping company... but he is a combatant..
