its a very easy job..
as my platoon mates all co-operative ones..
cum Im former Npcc in sec sch so those malay commands to me quite easy..

Ponders SG

alwaysdisturbed SG

i kanna also don't have. Laughing

pandemonium SG

Platoon appointmt more enjoyable than wing/coy appt, coz u get to interact w ur platoon guys more. And also more fun too (provided ur guys are the take initiative kind)

Gordonator SG

never kena before in BMT. good thing cos that time i was unconfident i can do the job well. was bad with drills and command too. Neutral

thoreldan SG

ya in bmt?

wait till you become appt holder in sispec/ocs Twisted Evil

getting the platoon to fall-in in units is more challenging than in training sch

Ponders SG

I know lah.. but you know the talk while you are in BMT is that if you platoon IC you confirm OCS. haha.

Some even proudly wear their Platoon IC epaulette.... even during book out.

fudgester SG

I never got arrowed to be platoon IC in all of my 2 1/2 years in the Army. Laughing

saline SG

BMT got Plt IC epaulette? Confused

Ponders SG

depends whether the CSM or OC of the company bother to make or not.

All coys used to have, then after wear and tear, they were never replaced.

eugtay SG

I was arrowed to be platoon IC by one of the sergents who had a something against me, he was hoping to be able to tekan me more for the whole platoon’s mistakes. Luckily the PC was reasonable and made the experience less painful.

Gordonator SG

if u kena IC for the week of BMT fieldcamp, good luck to u. sure die. Twisted Evil Laughing

Ponders SG

CONFIRM OCS!

sir sickolot II SG

wad's with you and 'confirm OCS' hahaha

and that's only if one does not screw up during field camp plt ic..

mr_sotong SG

i didnt kanna.. so lucky.. Laughing no sh!t job for me..

Gordonator SG

during my BMT fieldcamp, i see the IC quite sad leh, tekan jialat jialat by the PS. can't blame the poor chap lah anyway cos everyday must chiong suah and must take care of the whole platoon who have no ideas at all what is going on (first time in jungle mah, everyone is blur). not to mention all those outfield sai kang too. Laughing

LazerLordz SG

I went to Tekong twice, and never got that lucky either.

Did become unofficial armskote specialist during my recourse, because that nuah s.o.b of an official armskote spec had no idea how to maintain his company's weapons, nor keep his paperwork tight.

A few of us Armt Specs had to keep him in check, and ensure we had properly maintained rifles for range. Mad Mad
