saline SG well, when u are in the BX, the gloves protect u from heat and sharp edges when u handle the gun. the light grey part is made of leather not rubber.
saline SG for the mask, look at this PDF file... can see example....... http://www.mindef.gov.sg/imindef/resources/e-books/ebklist.-imindefPars-0001-DownloadFile.tmp/35yrsArmour.pdf standing on the BX, u can be sure that there are lots of dust blowing at ur face. they don't call armour boys "ang swah peng" for noting u know?
martin_lim85 SG is ur face mask a standard issue item for ur voc? maybe due to the amount of dust event during ur training etc?wow nice

Shotgun SG The paintjob? hahaha. No need to attach leaves. Damn retro lor... Wanted to keep 1 for souveinir, but unfortunately they were taken over and handled by some other unit's CQ.
dork3d SG Me was using the bra-type SBO during my BMT before changing it at the unit... The difference is me modified the strap and buckle with quick release clip-ons...
kotay SG Well since I'm packing for my ICT, I might as well contribute to this thread. Just an explanation ... I've integrated a fanny pack into my webbing as the a camelbak occupies the original pack. All in all I carry about 3.5 litres of water outfield ... 2.5 for myself and 1 for emergencies. That pile of in the middle ... assorted plasters, pills and dressing ... What can I say ... I'm a medic! The 3 items along the bottom ... strictly for non-tactical exercises. Missing from the piccie above would also be a book and reading light. The whole lot packed up looks like this ... ... and weighs about 9kg w/o ammo ... if I attach my MOP onto the clip, the whole lot goes up to 14-15kg, hence the padding on the straps
specfore SG Hi Mgr 433 Your SBO same as mine ! Old style. Must be around the same SAF generation ! There was no need for toggle rope in my unit. That was kept in the fullpack with the blessing of the CO. However, we needed to hang a lot of stuff , plus I had to pack a SIG Sauer pistol and holster. We removed one water bottle, that was hung from the full pack, again upon the CO 's instructions.
