you want to compare to current soldiers. so why not compare to
the sea soldiers?? i think your life is fcuking.. anyway, i just
ord-ed last monday. so i really feel for my man.
anyway, tell you abt our system..
for 2 weeks..
mon(mount) tues(dismount) wed(mount) thurs(dismount) fri(mount)
sat(dismount) sun(mount)
mon(dismount) tues(mount) wed(dismount) thurs(mount) fri(dismount)
sat(mount) sun(dismount)
-all stay-in. unless nights off given..
and it's depending on bases also. and even morning pt again..
3rd week, stand-by..
but actually it's physical training week and we do maintainance of
our equipment.. our boats and everything.
this will go for for the rest of our NS life. which means, out of
365 days a yr, we are only out, on every 3rd week. and everyday is
fcuking shagg.
the only weekend seasoldiers get to enjoy, is the 3rd week
sat and sun.
you want to know how bad it is, just ask my frds, how fatigue my
entire body has become, my face actually aged so much.. got
wrinkles. all becoz of the bad sleep and stress. im only 20
btw.
and yea, why stress and bad sleep.. because we are on constant
alert EVERYDAY.. and it's not like what you all think.. what staff
parade or turn-out or wadeva..
it's actually a real-life ops situation.. as on activation. we will
run out in our full equipment to pursue or confront the
aggressor..
in our case, normally ships that just got too close.
imagine having his for 3/8 to 2/3 of ur duties.. and halfway
sleeping..
now my ex-collegue and i, 'hears' the siren 2,3 am at night.. and
yea. we are at home..
be thankful you are in good hands.
