I'm curious to see the new standard No. 4 uniforms as
well.
Is there any other unique smart 4 dress from other units like the
commandos - smart 4 with metal/full coloured badges? A long time
ago, I was in this internal guards brigade parade where we wore our
smart 4s with red stable belts and yellow scarves around our necks.
Officers carried P226 pistols and lanyards as well. I don't think
they have such a practise any more.
As for the arms drills with the SAR21 - why didn't anyone look at
the Brits, the French or the Malaysians for ideas? After all, the
use bullpup rifles for their own arms drills as well.
