12qwaszx SG guys, just a qns do they assign vocation batch based on ur organic unit you are under or the specialized training you received?
twists SG based on your vocation.. if u are storeman but being unofficially posted to be clerk by your unit, u are still a storeman by official vocation but unofficially vocation is clerk.. like me lor.. by right i am storeman by left i am clerk...
twists SG your camp logistic department will issue to you.. cos my camp is the warrant log issue to us. maybe airforce different lor... but i tink airforce only got the badge unless for RP who wear no.4 got the formation, SG Tag, new name tag and the vocation badge
wuming78 SG what i meant was now with the arms badge, i think ladies will wear their ranks only on the left while the arms badge goes to the right.
nanren4ever SG Probably the new uniform is to differentiate them from NCC bah. Wah lau, sometimes see NCC people anyhow wear the uniform, then outside pple thought they from SAF, like a bit disgraceful lor
Ristar SG NCC are all toy soldiers anyway wat. they add the badges to make ppl have a strong sense of identity to the formation/arms they are serving in.
Ponders SG which makes me want to ask.. last time recruits gotta pay $3 for the sewing of name tags on to their uniforms..... so now if they enlist they pay $6?

insouciant SG Anyone went back for in-camp and were told to sew on the various badges yet? Strange how SAF has given out the formation patch for 3rd Div and not the rest.
twists SG all army formation patches are given out liao.. SAF parade see all liao... maybe u reservist in 3rd div so see 3rd div 1 lor
insouciant SG No lah, I just saw the story on 3rd Div got their patches but there was no mention of the other divs. Can already guess what 6, 9 Divs and 2 PDF will look like.Wonder how 21st look like.
