Need help! Wanna get highlights on hair

Hi everyone! Before entering Polytechnic, I am planning to get hairlights on my hair. May I know where I can get quality and affordable service for highlighting of hair? How much does dyeing of hair costs? How much does highlighting of hair costs?

Also, how do I ask for highlights on my hair? I'm planning to get dark green highlights only on the top left right side of my hair. When I enter the hair salon, how do I describe to the hairstylist on how I want my highlights?

Does the salons have all the shades of the colour green that I choose from or are there limited choices of which shade of green I want. I've never been to a salon before @[email protected]

just say "dark green highlights only on the top left right side of my hair"

but must top up for bleaching

might also need to top up for the green dye since it's not in the normal range of colours

maybe end up about 60-70 bucks

u can DIY at under $20

buy bleach

buy the colour powder or cream

(i happen to have dark green powder for sale. PM if interested. if not, dont waste my time)

go youtube see tutorials how to do it on ur own

btw, the colour will fade over time

@FireIce If the amount of highlights I want in my hair is very little and my hair isn't too long, will it cost cheaper than what you state or is it the same price no matter hair length or amount of dye used?

Also any hair salons to recommend near the north? Don't mind travelling far as long as the hair salon is walking distance from mrt station.

Sorry, I don't think I would be able to buy your dye because I'm afraid that I would fck up my hair badly. I still hope you would reply though.

Snipe Avenue is lousy whatever branch they are. They only interested to do hair according to their preference though they agree to customers' requests.

I almost went to Snip Ave before I saw all the bad reviews about their service online... Phew! Shunji Matsuo is also too expensive for mee... Guess I'll stick to black hair v.v

You can look out for promotion. Salons do promotion for hair highlight.

If you want go jean yip, do check out if they still use their house brands for colour. I have a friend went jean yip for colour, colour faded.
