alien09 SG What happens if you misplace your Cert of Service? What do you do/ whom do you approach to get a replacement?
cairocks SG Lucky for you, now serve again for 2 years to get another one. Used to be 2.5 years. Hahahaha Jokes aside. Can get a replacement with a fee. Misplaced mine before donkey years ago. Have to go (forgot is CPC or NSPC or something) to get a replacement. Then after I get the replacement, found my original. Swear I have look into that file more than 10 times. Haiz....ghost cover eyes.
alien09 SG i hope it’s in one of the many bags i cleared from my bunk..just scared i misplaced it..but will have to check thoroughly for it….so mindef actually has a soft copy of my COS? that’s a relief..how much does it cost?
Ponders SG Is there actually fixed format of the COS? It seems different units have different standards. My unit's best conduct is Outstanding. my friend's unit... say only 3 grades. GOOD, VERY GOOD, FAIR.
mhcampboy SG Hmm...there is outstanding but must your unit commander must write a testimonial for you on why you shld get outstanding.... most are lazy to write...so they give the next best..very good..

cairocks SG Sorry, can't help you with that...Old liao, forgotten how much lor... Dunno is it soft copy or not. Never bother to probe how mindef keeps their record..Didn't even noticed if it is the same serial number....

dork3d SG You never arh kah liao with your S1 lah... That's why you didn't get... By the way, me also finished with my 8th year of NS cycle, but completed 16 ICTs cos every year kena two ICTs...
nightzip SG so Not everyone get the COS one? i mean let's say we are from inf coys or support coys, not hq coys? normally dun get???
dork3d SG By right, all servicemen should get a COS upon their completion of service, and it's from the S1 branch or your Admin branch...
