lktlkygr SG

Is there a case whereby a person who did not attend a single course after BMT for a very long time n he got to convert to RP?

molgax SG

i have heard some cases but usually will need to go for RP training at the provost camp

Ponders SG

which is a 2 weeks no kick course.

pinkish purple papayas SG

or a torturous 10wk course if u get into FDS.

sir sickolot SG

FDS is dam shiong from wad i heard...MG training...digging trenches... and all these just to guard an air field.

the Navy got their Sea Soldiers too... jiat lat training there.

anyway back to the topic Embarassed

wonder is there any RP that is not RP trained? cause some RP may not have gone on course yet but still take up duties

Hellraiza SG

Depends on your course warrant old chap...and my batch was the luckiest. We had to stay in.

martin_lim85 SG

hmmm u will go to one of the airbases for ur RP course. future Field Defense Trooper Cool

molgax SG

but i heard when ord will b back for reservist as infantry
not sure about that

Ponders SG

depends the kind of RP you are.

If you are RP for the sake of guarding a camp, then yes you will most prob go back as infantry.

But if you are RP as part of a RP platoon which is an element of a Brigade. your reservist is also RP. meaning usually 2 weeks of camp guarding.

hobochua SG

It may happen but chances is low cos u are not combat fit but Rp also got their special training....so better don try ur luck just go with the flow even if u don like it ok....Have faith endure

if any of u here recall this threadstarter past threads, he seems to be quite lost.

1st he say he don't want to be tank driver, then he wants to downgrade, then he wants to ORD in 1 year 8 mths just because he didn't attend any courses, then he don't know how to handle a M16, THT, range. now he wants to convert to RP.

quite a colourful NS life i say. Confused

why u roll eyes? Question

actually i feel sorry for this guy. if u type in his name into the search box and look at his past threads, he seems to be having all sorts of problems since the day he enlisted. Confused

he also like to create those no head no tail thread whereby he creates a thread but never reply in them.
