What is considered transparent in IMH but not in Adam Road? What rules are proper in IMH but not in Adam Road? Please give advice.

I'm trying to help those servicemen with pyschiatric problem. Since u claimed Adam Road hospital is not transparent, why is it stll standing today?

The practice of psychiatric medicine is very very subjective. Hence there must be proper check and balances to ensure that the doctors conduct themselves professionally. IMHO IMH has that system in place.

IIRC The head of Adam Road Dr. Wong Yip Chong was orginally from IMH but left to start his own hospital due to differing views with the IMH authorities. Can you tell me who does regular checks on him? I am pretty sure MOH does not spot-check private practises regularly unless there are complaints.

Besides don't you think a certified government psychiatrist's reccommendation would carry more weight than a private ones?

I guess it depend cause I ahd a fren visiting private psychitrist n he got excused from range after his basic training.
