Chelzea SG

Gordonator SG

true. but what to do? nowadays kids are born with golden spoon in their mouths. Laughing

btw, jungle isn't exactly a public place right?

Ponders SG

I think we should write to LHL in support of Foreign Talent.

He go and raise an army big enough full of singaporeans.

Then the foreign talents wlll come to fill up the void of the economy as the signapore men go army liao.

Win-win situation...

SAF will have regular force that is more professional and dedicated (no NSF complaining)

Singapore will have lots of foreign talents (as LHL have wished for).

Chelzea SG

one day, if we ever come to that day, when it is real bullets flying over your head, you will gladly leopard crawl through shit and dung and piss.

trust me.

Obersturmfuhrer SG

When bullets let rip, you'll pray to god to remove those buttons just to let you be closer to the earth.

LazerLordz SG

Korea, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Israel, Taiwan, Switzerland.

Just to name a few nations with conscription, and are far more advanced than we are.

Seriously, more and more youngsters these days do not bother to know about the world beyond their little selves.

Can anyone here under 21 tell me why the Lebanese-Israeli conflict started?
Does anyone know why we serve NS, and that the money we spend on defence each year is not something we do for fun and laughter?

Chelzea SG

i nvr said u couldnt man Laughing But u gtta noe dat AGE is nt= to maturity

Gackt247 SG

Nabeiz.. u pple complain complain complain.. Geez.. juz get it done over with la.. NS no biggie.. Rolling Eyes

Tuki SG

only way to describe ppl like that are " self centered mama's boys"

Chelzea SG

Korea,Israel n sweden are in a perilous situation compative to us Rolling Eyes They are likely to have a war whereas for singapore ,im doubtful of any war starting soon unless our leaders start asking 4 trouble

look at it dis way ,IF malaysia or indo lose e war ,they would prob lose huge amts of territory which contain vast natural resources. They prob lose more in case of losing a war against us..i doubtful they wld risk it.

Lebanese -israeli war started cos israel soldiers were kidnapped.BUt e root of e problem is that israel occupied palestine illegally and resulted in the Arab-israeli tension.

Oh yea Rolling Eyes Does violence solve any problems ,its seems dat despite israel having a superior army ,they are still prone to sucide attacks n wadnot?
Violence is nt a solution to any problem, diplomacy is e way to go.
Lets look at it this way ,despite israel winning almost every single war in e middle east ,have they secured peace?? im doubtful aganist that.It seems dat violence causes massive losses to civilians n so wad if we emerge victorious in a war against MY n INdo.i believe that MY n INdo wld be back with a vengeance prob wif more JI radicals to attack us.
We shld instead use subtle ways to work hand in hand wif our neighbouring countries. Can u imagine if some of e funds used for defence was used 4 investment instead in indo n MY?dat wld prob improve our BOPs via investment returns n wld also cause indo n MY to avoid war at all cost due us linked closely economically where both parties wld have too much to lose if there is a war.Its a win win situation for all parties involved.
I rather see things thrashed out on e table rather den on e battlefield via diplomacy.

Im nt suprised if like minded ppl like u exist in e singapore cabinet who decided to invest billions on defence.wad e fark is pt of this?it only leads to military built up in e region .Singapore is spending much more then MY n indo on defence. Rolling Eyes The billions spent can be better utilised on eliminating income disparity and investing in education in e region.

N even wif e billions spend on defence,do u think that we have a superb defence? im doubtful that spore can withstand a nuclear bomb Laughing
