Can I create a bank account without my parents knowing?

I'm 18 this year but my parents are still holding on to my atm card :( is there a way for me to create another account in the same bank? So meaning two accounts in a same bank, or do I have to approach another bank? And will they mail letters to my home? How do I get a personal account without my parents knowing?

sometimes they do send letters to inform u of some of their promotions or changes to policy and stuff

Go to another bank....no need same bank,all banks are safe in S'pore.

DBS or POSBANK allow a person holding more than 1 account.

Possible but sometimes if you misplace your ATM card or something, they will send a replacement card to your mailing address.
