chikopek SG under what circumstances will a person's ORD date being extended? 1) Kenna DB and/or Changi/Queenstown prison. 2) Disruption but that is another story. 3) Volunteer extending of service (There are people doing that because of participation of NDP and such.)

CoolMyth SG I remembered my RSM, OC, CO all dun want to sign my clearance form. End up have to chase them on actual day. Then on actual day, RSM, CO "take" leave. OC also "take" leave but lucky he appeared for an hour to take something from his office and I was there to ask for his signature. End up ask my Encik to sign for RSM, S1 to sign for CO, took IC at 10am and ORD loh!
alien09 SG no such thing as don’t clear ippt/soc/acct/atp can’t ord. the most my unit did was to make you come back for sat. rt and reduce your off-s. but you would still ord either way.
LazerLordz SG My Manpower Clerk signed for S1. My form was signed 1 month before ORD. And I got my IC back 2 days early.
Shotgun SG Wah... Lazerlords, u dam power leh. I did my clearance 2 weeks b4 ord, and got ic back 1 day early... The actual ORD happened to be a Saturday, so the chief clerk was nice abt it. Criteria for ORD - When the time comes for you to ORD, you WILL ORD. Unless u sway kena extend ORD den sian 1/2 lor.
Gordonator SG make sure u don't sign any extras before u start to clear leave. u don't want to come back weekends just to serve your extras right?
KoolKool SG How come still got pass ?? The clearance form is to make sure you have returned whatever belongs to the camp. Physical items. The rest like IPPT, SOC are imaginery items. Happy ORD !
tetsumi SG wat i mean is if u get pass for atp n silver for ippt they wont burn ur off n make u come back for RT etc... otherwise they keep kpkb u to get silver for ippt etc... BUT... if atp nv pass, ippt nv pass, when ur day comes u still get to go! when u gotta go, u gotta go! ORD LOH!
packjust SG Hey dude, clearing leaves and offs is not mandatory. I know of guys who still had leaves and offs remained when they ORDed.
Gordonator SG i know. i'm just stating the things one needs to clear before he ORD. and although leaves and offs is not mandatory, we still need to clear them. for our own good.
alien09 SG eh i heard if you do not pass your ippt in your active years, you'll be made to take your ippt soon after you've ord-ed. any truth in those rumours? reservist still need to clear range and soc?
