gd4u SG Then i say 'happy new year' to u ... but then, as said, it is fasten in a secured manner, unless u tio a spoilt one lar .. Btw, where does he get his sword from? Personal issued???
Hellraiza SG i think its the same as an officer's....gold colour right? BUT...seen before, in my old ISM's office, a SILVER one....interesting eh?
saline SG the drill sword is almost the same as the officers. only lighter and the crest on the blade is not as define. the silver sword if i am not wrong is the old officer's sword. the sword of honour is also silver.
Master -_- SG The complete drills with the sword is one of the most beautiful sights u ever seen.. seriously When u look at the Infantry Formation RSM, SWI ISM and Guards Fmn RSM performing it together.. wah lau eh! sibei chio!
gd4u SG I rmb tt time i was training for sword drills, i tio a very loose sword and belt and the scabbard was dragging on the floor, and i was told to hold onto the scabbard, and it feels bloody weird ...
acwire_2125 SG Wad's the use? The sword in the end can't use! I really hope they issue out swords that can be used in real warfare instead of just for ceremonial duties only.
Hellraiza SG Kind of funny right? Imagine, on top of all your equipment, still must bring out a damn sword...where you gonna put it? inside fieldpack with the hilt sticking out arh? Then if kana capture by enemy how? And what if the enemy got a sense of humour, behead you with your own sword?
