first to get in, last to get out & first to get killed. Rolling Eyes

Gordonator SG

question no wings can be commando or not?

mhcampboy SG

cannot.

Icemoon SG

I suspect the mortality rate for commando is lower than the other combat units.

erijazz SG

First to go in (hide), last to get out (from hide) = last to get kill…

Gordonator SG

then those who fail airborne course how? recourse? OOC? Question

mhcampboy SG

well im not from commando. but normally thats the way it works la.

either revocated. or recourse...must ask that rebelray... Laughing

Valor SG

they will make sure u pass out from ur airborne before u ord dude... remember saf dun let u owe anything.. only they can owe u, u can't owe them

NaZtAzi0 SG

hi... let me enlighten you Cool

once enlist 10 weeks BMT --> 2 weeks cross training(learn weapons, navigation skill, etc) --> 3 months Vocational training (depends what you kena can be signal, medics, weapon, demo/boat man, leaders 'sergeant') --> 3 months DOT/COT detachment ops training /company ops training --> RED BERET

**sometime between 3rd to 6th month of ur life in NS you will be going for ur airborne course... trust me.. its fun!! defining moment Smile

as for wat comamndos do.. i leave it for you to come and experience yourself..

FOR HONOR & GLORY........COMMANDO!!!

editted by mod: sorry. took out some info which i thought was a tad more sensitive and was not really necessary to answer the thread starter's question.

Ristar SG

commandos never even do actual ops yet keep dying during training already.

if u get to become a CDO, u better be extra careful.

Gedanken SG

All of the guys I knew who failed Airborne failed because of injury. They were downgraded and revocationalised.

bendito.L SG

own or owe Question
2 totally diff words wif diff meanings here

Valor SG

Embarassed my mistake here

alien09 SG

I cannot agree more with the only SAF can owe you, you cannot owe SAF part. i’ve heard of ppl who had to go for vocational training or bmt just before they ord-ed.
