Very confusing lehz. Confused

Anyway, one thing for sure, no need to saluate CLTs!

martin_lim85 SG

i follow my RP frineds saying dun salute or even greet anyone from ncc can liao Laughing

gnoik SG

Funny lehz, i still see some not wearing the new tag.

Not compulsory still arh?

insouciant SG

Huh? Wat new tag?

Herzog_Zwei SG

I have heard of Majors(NS) who are seconded to NCC units having Major(NCC) lapels on their uniform. Technically, you still have to salute them if you see them in camp/base.

Deunamist SG

hahahaha.. in China is soldier..come to Singapore only can be construction worker..
Mr. Green

I saw one Thai or Vietnamese fellar, in full camo, but very obvious is not SAF one..with boots and fold smart 4 some more. Shocked

insouciant SG

Just saw this Chinese guy (no idea if Singaporean or Chinese national) wearing full no.4 with some sort of boots. Obviously construction worker.

If SAF realy serious about cracking down on pple wearing SAF camo uniform, they should send the police to teh constructions sites, the have ST / Lianhe Zaobao do a story. Then over night everyone will stop... well at least until 1 yr later anyway. Very Happy

Ponders SG

Foreigners wearing our uniform... maybe can forgive them.. because they most probably got it from NSmen who threw them away, etc etc.

I am most pissed with Singaporeans who modify their uniform to bermudas, or make bags/pouches out of them and think it is damn cool.

insouciant SG

I think I more pissed with the people who haven't gone thru NS / sign on who wear the uniform as causual wear as they haven't earned "the right" to wear the uniform yet.

Most of the people who have gone thru NS/sign on wouldn't want to wear the uniform period if they can help it. Laughing

saline SG

i just don't like ncc boys wearing SAF's uniform. esp the number 1. and the worse part is that in the ncc parade, some of them carry the sword! knn!

Deunamist SG

u cannot carry u jealous is it? Laughing

martin_lim85 SG

but their sword is ncc, somemore draw out one right? y so angry its nth

saline SG

i have my own. they did not earn it…

martin_lim85 SG

wah. anyway when they get the real SAF training i think they will cry Laughing

Deunamist SG

oh, so you're an officer.

ok lah, they never actually get to hold the real ceremonial sword until the actual parade. during trainings and all that they hold drill sword only..at least that's how it is in NPCC..

saline SG

seriously, they need to change the ncc’s uniform. or at least make them go home in vest (school pe t-shirt) and slacks?

martin_lim85 SG

the only ncc different from saf is air type.

how about land and sea?

Gordonator SG

it's such an eyesore looking at those NCC kids with their oversized uniforms, dragging their feets, wear berets like mushrooms etc. Rolling Eyes

martin_lim85 SG

Laughing no offence but some wear berets like mustroom, so even dun know adjust their beret and put crest in middle

Deunamist SG

HAHHAAHAH I'VE SEEN MANY LIKE THAT.

Laughing
