Taiwanpolitics SG actually i hesitated declaring i am anti-social in the social history because I scare later on in the future no1 wants to employ me . although I never consulted a psychiatrist , but the evidence is in my report book . most of the remarks made by my teacher are that I need to socialise with my frenz more or he is a quiet boy that needs to speak up iun class or an introvert . etc I still dunno should i declare this or not .... as it really have undesirable consequences ...... I read the FAQ in NS portal , they said if i have an appointment at the psychiatrist clinic , i should be acompannied by 1 parent and have my school records with me . I dowan my future employers to know abt this . sianz..... should i declare ?
newmanmback SG dun worry...now even if many sickness and dieseases in you the army still find ways to use u in the armed forces...i got a friend who got aids...he was transfered to the defence force research centre and died there for a cause...heard from some guys it was for some bio-weapon stuff. i personally dun like to socialise...sothey post me to sniper- one vocation i liked and never regreted getting my a ss into. i heard even ahgua serve NS too in the army. so no point wasting time writing here..the MO there will assess your case and if u no need to serve then just be an ah gua civilian lor
Taiwanpolitics SG my appointment on 1 pm , so can i arrive earlier or must be punctual ? but according to da website , medical examination is abt 2 hours ..... but i nid more time cos i am the type with medi problems and CMBP closes at 5 pm , and pre-enlistment documentaion takes some time ...... if i am unable to finish my checkup , must i come another day ? and there 's still aptitude assessment leh .....
fudgester SG Sigh... as I said earlier, it's just a FRO, they're not going to eat you up and spit you out. Of course you ought to be punctual for any medical appointment, and as with any appointment, it would be best to come five minutes earlier. If they give you a 1pm appointment, that means that they feel that 4 hours will be enough to deal with you. If it's not enough, they'll simply give you another appointment date to finish up whatever that couldn't be finished. I've said it several times, and I'll say it again: don't sweat the small stuff. It's just an additional medical review. Just give them your full medical history with whatever supporting documents that you have and just do whatever they tell you to do. Worrying about the outcome won't change the outcome a little bit. And seriously, what's the worst that could happen?
octega SG Just be punctual, regardless if you need more time or not, if u can't finish ur checkup, come back another day lor. So wats so difficult abt it? Me also cannot finish 1st time, left the aptitude assement, so I come back another day to do lor. Things dun always go as plan one mah, so if there is cock up just come back again lor. BTW, its CMPB not CMBP hor.

Taiwanpolitics SG i scare cos last time the doctor pulled me dick's foreskin and i shouted ouch . then the doctor stared at me . then he said my dick nid a small operation to remove part of my fore skin . I got phimosis (thickfore skin)!!!! then sec school , i tio hi BP checkup due to phobia of medical checkup . went to NUS , diagnosed at whitecoat hypertension but before that I did 2 times blood screening , 2 times urine test and ECG and other scary tests . now NS 1 , i more scare wor . dun laugh lah .....
