Note too sure about things now - but back then our MOs (2 of
them) had airborne wings.
One was a little c0cky too - he would take out a pack of
cigarettes, smoke, and tell the men how bad smoking was while
puffing away. Another time, he was covering a live firing practise,
got bored and requested to fire a live round from the 84mm RR - and
yep, he got his chance. Can't remember his name though.
I know a MO - he was a signal corporal during his NS, went on to
medical school after that, and converted to a MO. Doing extremely
well these days.
