SAR21 not meant for left-handers????

gaoxingdcf SG

Have u all ever wondered y SAR21 is not meant for left handers??? I have no problem shooting M16 with my right hand, left hand also no problem cuz got deflecter to deflect the thingy… As a left hander,i gotta to adept to using right hand, very troublesome lor !!!!!

dork3d SG

Thought there is a left-hander operator version of SAR21? Me saw the left-hander version during the AOS…

dakkon_blackblade SG

The SAR21 is designed such that in the event of a chamber explosion, the impact is mostly directed towards the right-hand side of the weapon, so for safety reasons the weapon has to be fired right-handed.

Gordonator SG

SAR21 is more suitable for right handlers as they don’t have a deflector for it yet.

gaoxingdcf SG

must have a left hand SAR21,or else those using left hand for the past 20 years, have to adept to use right hand!!!

Rockhound SG

i dont think they can create a deflector for it...the ejection port is at the cheek

Gordonator SG

i wonder why the engineers didn't think of this when they design the rifle. Rolling Eyes

Geforce3 SG

the notch infront of the sar 21 is actually a deflector notice the rounds move forward, the main things is the kevlar protecting ur face Wink

gnoik SG

Never use SAR21 before. Is it hard to clean? Cool

martin_lim85 SG

all were right handers

MGGUN SG

NONONO!!!super easy new weapon is super easy to clean......must know how to wayang and shoot fewer blanks

SingaporeTyrannosaur SG

The SAF policy is that...

ALL must shoot right hand now!

dakkon_blackblade SG

It's harder to clean, IMHO. There are more parts, with more nooks and crevices for the carbon to lodge itself in. The gas regulator is a nightmare; you can never seem to get all the carbon out despite all efforts.

Gordonator SG

what if the CDF is a left handed? Laughing

Hellraiza SG

then they come out one that is leftie-compatible lor..simple.

Wonder if CDF also need to clear the currency status for range, soc, ippt and all that hor.

schoolworkphobia SG

I left hander and i use right hand to squeeze trigger. Its not really that tough just that when you squeeze trigger will be a bit lag. Btw i only bmt so only tried to fire ancient m16 haha.

Gordonator SG

i will love to see how the CDF go for SOC and IPPT. Laughing

ryangian SG

Got rumor that our current CDF is PES C but don know what is the exact status Question

I-like-flings(m) SG

better still.. all left hander are exempted from NS in future..... rumour has it that left hander are smarter... so they can continue their study and contribute to sg GDP Laughing

Hellraiza SG

Heard this urban legend that lefties have a shorter life expectancy by 9 years compared to righties.
