Any strategy or tactics or ways to run 2.4km in 9mins (Gold timing)???

keep a consistant pace...open up yr step...dun think abt anything...just run!!!! Laughing

open up your pace in the 1st 1km.

got up slope, run with small quick pace, body fwd.

got down slope, open pace as much to make up the losses if any.

breathe in thru nose, out thru mouth.

I notice those people like to cheong at the start , my strategy is to slow down and run constand spped for 1st round , then slow jog also can catch up 3/4 of ppl with 2md n 3rd round ,4th n 5th can start to accelarate until the last round cheong , those who run fast first will be too exhaust to catch up Smile

Don't bother to stop and walk... Even if u feel tired... tired also must slow jog...

'cause if you start to walk, then u don't have motivation to get back to jogging liao....

I count while running, helps time past and keep me from thinking other thoughts. Basically just keep running, don’t walk..

hMz...i remember i once heard or saw someone posted that there was/were guys who completed their 2.4km under 6mins....how they do it.....

6mins....6 rounds of 400m each....

1 round of 400m must run not more than 1mins...to be able to complete 2.4km under 6mins....

1min to complete 400m for the 1~2rounds looks achieveable...but 3~6th round????

My former course commander better !!! You in full battle gear with full pack, he come after you in a landrover think the whole distance is about 20 over km !!! If he is faster then you, not just screaming you in all languages - you no bookout ! lucky it was night time and the road is in exercise area so limited it speed a little. You run and run like the wind, the moment you slow down, you will soon find the head light on your bum and run for your life again. 1/2 the company over run by the rover ! my team and a few other teams out run it.

However course commander not happy that we can even outrun his landrover, think that since we are so good in running, those teams that outrun this landrover spend the next 2hr after the whole exercise running up and down the hill, for being too fast.
