Gordonator SG ya i heard from my friends too. they actually came up with a new set of drills for SAR21 without sling.
fudgester SG Wah I don't envy them at all.... It's too short to do turun senjata for the SAR-21. So I suppose they have to julang senjata all the way?
monoslayer SG well, i dun really find doing parade wif sar21 is nice… they r too short n doesnt look dashing.. give me the trusty m16 anytime!
donchoo SG fark la sar21 so short. I say to hell with those, lets just use lee enfield ww2 rifles- looks good with bayonet somemore.
rxone SG well im am part of the goh contigent this year... we dun julang for guard of honour... n we do have a sling juz that its like the sling for m16 juz for decoration purpose... sar21 is short thats y we juz rusok (dunno spelling correct anot ) all the way even in se nang di ri position we juz transfer the weapon to the center of our body n carry the butt with two hands, left hand covering the right hand... still prefer doin drills with m16... more kick
EXCO SG This will be similar to the UK drills then? The UK Guards have been using these set of drills for quite some time, its not exactly new. Their rifle is around the same length as the SAR21 as well.
Deunamist SG My goodness. I hope this doesn't apply to the Police just for the sake of standardisation.
Deunamist SG most likely stick to M16. The only rifles in HTA armoury are M16s (Yes I've been inside before), unless you want to count the MP5s (which are kept in the Special Weapons room, which I've never stepped inside before)
Deunamist SG might as well say revolver right.. No need issue out pistols..Revolver everyone also have.
