Gedanken SG Here's a simple and effective way to minimise NS time - cut down on RT by keeping that flabby ass of yours in shape. That'll also increase your productivity by minimising the amount of time you waste whinging about RT. There we go - problem solved. NEXT!
Gedanken SG If that air's so scarce to your bloodstream, it's best not to waste it whinging. Either do something about it or live with it - anything else is pointless.
qpicanto SG here building mrt, building stadium, building new tem boon lay int, building new condo and mall , all at one go, plus the fighter jets, so many excavators, piling machines, rollers etc the air is foul..how to run...
Gedanken SG And yet plenty of people manage to stay in shape and avoid wasting time on RT. If you put half the energy into taking care of yourself that you do in coming up with lame excuses, you might actually lead a productive life. Ruminate on that. If anything, you've convinced me that RT's a good thing - while you're out there, we're not getting swamped by this tripe.
duotiga83 SG esp in the IT line....a lot of temp/contract positions.....very few perm positions..... plus i dont have the time to upgrade myself during NS so being "fresh" now is hard to secure a good job.......
Gedanken SG 83, surely that's a matter of career choice rather than NS liabilities? Hell, back in 1994 when I was choosing university courses, and after finishing Computer Science at A-levels, I could already see that the IT market would be saturated by the time I graduated, and so I switched to psychology instead and never looked back.
Ole SG It’s all the stupid security stuff, no computer to use in camps, and no stay out. How to keep in touch with the IT field. Little wonder singapore is losing out.
qpicanto SG Remedial Trainings (for those fail physical tests ) used to be a week 'jialat-jialat' (very taxing) log-training in the camp no book out.(cannot come out) later changed to 3 months couple of hrs per sessions 2 - 3 times a week now 2 month 2-3 times a week.....
