Any regulars here would like to give their 2 cents worth on this?
CoolMyth SG Well, it's said to be a rumor that everyone's votes are tracked. Rumor or truth, we dun know.... Your guess is probably as good as mine.
ditzy SG That's why the ballot papers used have registration numbers on them, to make tracing to your IC number even easier. So if you don't vote for the PAP, you can run, but you cannot hide. You will be marked and anything you do with regards to govt agencies will seem much more difficult to do than usual.

king108 SG If you are major above, die die must support government. If you are only a 2nd SGT, your career is over, hence it does not bother so much even you supported the government. Your career will be over in 12 years. Get rid of the col, then major promote and maybe your chance of promiting will be better.

Ecxentrique SG you are doing service to the nation.. not the ruling party the govt pays u for doing that service.. not the ruling party your choice of who to vote for does not determine your loyalties to the country. the ruling party does not own and pay the military. .the military's loyalties should nv be to the ruling party. voting for the opposition is not treason..
