Hi Fellow provost family member.
By what u write,u are definitely from there.
Eh heed my advice,SAFPU is one of the best units ard,but jzu don't come into DB. The working environment and management sucks big time for MPs.

Haha.. which coy u from?? I 'was' from provost... but not anymore.....enjoyed my training but not post training life. HATE SAF. but....
Yeah... SAFPU pretty easy life for NSF.... even more easy for the lazy damn regulars(Not all are lazy though, only 80%)
DB, once you are old bird life will be better...but management still pretty bad. SB another shit place for NSF... lousey management and stupid 'regulars'
ZPC depending on whos the CSM, but last I know of, the OC is quite down-to-earth and bothers to clean up, do shit job with men... why I noe? Cos being a Captain, Hes the only regular to step out and helped clear up mess after some shit cohesion day. Only after he stood out to help, then did the other Regular specs came and wayang....
APC .... MEN RULES... Just be normal and dun be a problem to managment, nothing much will go wrong. Initial training abit tiring... but managable.
SOP - remain there either be instructor if ya a spec, if men then either be armo ic or clerk or Media resource. Not bad place too... but heard slightly different now.
SIB - Depending on whom you are under... can be good can be bad..
HQ - same as above...

Oh yes... forgot.. dun ever be tempted by non-uniform coys.... doesnt mean non-uniform means better and easy life... TRUST ME.

If really wana try non-uniform life in SAFPU, go for the lower level one... AVOID the higher level one.. Im serious.

3mths course, 3 mths OJT. This is for the Auto Tech and Auto Spec Tech "B" courses.

In the past, we used to 25 and 45 grades, OJT is in your own unit. I'm the first batch for direct 45 course.

got upcoming MP interview before POP. if I dont get into command school would MP would be a good choice? haha..

anyway a bit off my topic but how to prevent blisters during route march? during my 24km I nearly cried for the last 8km cos of 12 blisters on my 2 soles Embarassed

zictool SG

Go become MP la... relax ur nsf life in provost... be men and relac one corner.

To prevent blisters for road march.... wear 2 layers of socks.. but of cos it would be hot... , tie the boots tight...dun leave too much slack.
The easiest way to avoid blisters... DUN GO FOR ROAD MARCH.. Razz They always treaten and say that need to redo road march after POP, Bullshit... just call back dos and say u have MC on the day suppose to do road march... They more happy.. less one person to take care of.

wuming78 SG

its two layers of socks and tight boots for you.

there was once i suffered blisters during a fast march, but during the march my feet were already so warm that i didnt feel any pain. but the aftermath was ugly...

but luckily that was like one of the rare times when i suffered blisters. mostly that didnt occur to me. Wink
