SAF e.Mart

Hey... I am thinking of buying shoes off the online e.mart. www.miw.com.sg

No. 3 shoes to wear for work, its paid for by the SAF, why not? But dont really know what size i should get. And theres no freaking size conversion tables in the website.

I use the Gore Tex boots sz 247, and my foot length is 9.75inch or 25cm.

Any kind advise, which size i should click?

Theres a range of sizes, very odd numbering, i must say.
225, 232, 240, 247, 255, 262, 270, 277, 285, 292, 300, 307, 315

I have a hunch mine is 270, but i cant be sure. Help!!!

since u already mentioned your goretex boots size is 247, for SAF leather shoes just buy size 247 loh.

Haha... Thanks for the reply... I bet my post sounded stupid.

But when i bought the new Gore Tex boots, they mentioned that the cut was different from the old type of boots, and my old boots sz was 270... i think.

So if i bought 247 for the no. 3 shoes, it might turn out smaller than i can wear... Actually, the simpler solution will be to go to the permanent e.mart and try it out for myself... but where got time??

u have very small feets for a guy, i wear 277 that's 10.5. so i think u can stick to 247.

i was using the old full leather boots at size 8 but when i bought the new gore tex size 8.0 i noticed it seemed to be tighter at the toes area than before

diff cut or new shoes are like that?

the old full leather boots aka lao jiao boots are measured in hundreds like 270, 277 etc not in U size. SAF stop issuing them in early 2003. so since u are a new soldier, u can't be using old full leather boots.
