You will get the national service medal with a watch. The medal
will have your rank, name and date on the back.
The watch I had (victorinox), has my unit, name and rank on the
back.
I think most should get the national service medal when you have 10
years of reservist (from what I know from my unit). I got mine
during the 11th ICT year.
The good conduct medal is usually given around the 6th year, but
not all will receive it.
