I'm currently 16 as of 1st January 06. Should be receiving my NS
Enlistment letter by middle of the year when I turn 17.
The issue is:
I'm going for a major operation this coming V Day. Reason for
operation is that it's to remove a growth that's causing internal
bleeding inside my stomach, at my intestine area. What should I do
when I receive the letter ?
Mainly because, I'm still in Secondary School now and extempted
from school due to health condition. After the operation, I
might/might not return to school, depending on my recovery
rate.
Question is:
Am I eligible to be extempted from NS or downgraded to 9 - 5 work
?
