Simoncpy SG Hi all bro there..i m gonna be enlisted on 10th march 06…to 30SCE combat engineer.(A polar bear sign coolz). but i totatly have no clue to wad this unit does..training is done at Tekong or jurong?some say is Got 2 type ..wad plant engineer..while other (my dad) say is carryin of bridges..for tank to move over river or sometime…May some one pls enlighten me?Tell me more about it..thanks all bro..
Gordonator SG your dad old fashioned lah. engineers do more than just building bridges. anyway 30SCE is home of the plant and field engineers. there are many other kinds of engineers, are u interested to know more?
LazerLordz SG You will learn the operations of excavators, bulldozers, chainsaws, and if I’m not wrong, demolition and creation of berm structures and the operation of the M60 AVLB and the M728 CEV.
Shotgun SG If u are a plant engineer, u will be operating equipments like forklifts, dozers, excavators etc. Field engineer, u will might be working with AVLBs, working with mine clearing, etc.
