In the assasination of JFK, 3 shots were fired.
Apparently only 2 shots were fired by Lee, not 3 as thought.
1st shot missed, shrapnel hit JFK, 2nd shot hit, and exited his
throat.
3rd shot, came from rifle held by the secret service behind
JFK's car, responding to gunfire, which hit JFK in the head.
This was concluded because the first 2 rounds were full metal
jacket rounds used by Lee, and the 3rd round a rifle bullet from an
AR-15 used by the secret service, caused different exit wounds.
The above was ballistic analysis done, but never publicised.
