through Eton and graduated from Oxford? Alot of them are the Mr Ah
Bengs you spoke of...
But it's true that the army has a tradition. Officers are supposed
to be gentlemen and should NEVER use vulgarities. That sort of
language is left to the enciks and the NCOs...it's part of the
British class system that we have inherited, although I think the
Singapore army is more egalitarian.
