alwaysdisturbed SG agr - endurance 30:60 n 60:120 - speed (interval) the disadvantage in the 30:60 n 60:120 is no distance is required. bcoz during trainin, there r simply too many trainees wif different standards. dats y cannot possibly give a distance. for individual it wld b more effective to cater a distance durin interval trainings bcoz u hv an objective (to do certain distance under certain timing).
deathscythe99 SG Interval trainings. Sprint 100m, jog 100m, sprint 200m, jog 200m, sprint 300m, jog 300m, sprint 400m, jog 400m and then backwards. That's 1 set Do more and more sets as the weeks go.... Confirm can
Acerguy_007 SG hey guys i started on high intensity daily interval trainings around 1 week ago and guess what it is damn damn useful i can go even faster for my 2.4km my timing from 9:40 to 9:20 but interval trainings are very tiring i started with ten sets of 400m at 1:30 pace or even faster then increased to 6 sets of 600m at 2:10 pace or faster and lastly 5 sets of 800m at 3:00 pace but i also did endurance run in between hopeing to see more results! trust me guys it works!
tlwa SG I don’t know how your 2.4 route is but for my camp is 3 laps of 800m. I train by targeting 3:10min/lap rest for 2min and run again aiming for the same timing. You need to train your heart to get use to the fast pace so your heart is able to pump faster in future running. And controlling your breathing plays an important role. Best is breath in and out from your nose for the first 1.5km or so and change to breathing in by mouth and out by nose and final 400, 500m use your mouth to breath in so can take in more air for final burst.
deathscythe99 SG I believe that those doing endurance runs, cannot be as fast as those who specialise in speed My 0.05 cents worth.
alwaysdisturbed SG therotically... its correct.... but there is awaes an exception case which applies on talented ones.
