Hi ThousandIsland,
From your post, it seems that your find it hard adjusting to
military life still, just learn to deal with it as it comes because
your still young, your body is able to take some strenous
activities without much problem.
I do belive BMT and Army has been more mindful of their training
and safety for a while than the old days. I remember doing my BMT
back in 2001, the life back then was tough, but memorable.I do
belive lot of old army practicies i recevied has been toned down or
banned recently.
Don't look at such stress and tirness as a form of stumbling block,
when you ORD in the future to resume studies in Uni or start
working, the ability to drive further and add value in school work
or working will certainly be credited to the training you recevied
in army.
Some jobs demand you work 12-14 hrs per day, for 6 days, then what
are you going to do ? And dealing with politics, tight deadlines,
and fear of losing your job is much worse than your current
situation now
But of course such jobs come with gd renumration packages
Do take care of yourself, Happy New Year to you and your family
!
