There's a picture of a SAR-21 with what seems to be an AG-36 mounted. Interesting isn't it? And it's mounted slightly lower, so the LAD *may* be still usable. Seeing how no version of the SAR-21-M203 is actually issued, I hope this is a serious idea... Though Im pretty sure it's for export only... as usual. Crying or Very sad

LazerLordz SG

US Army evaluation?

LazerLordz SG

It was seen in the STK catalogue. And if you look at the above pic, the top-left soldier is holding one

Shotgun SG

After they get out of the water... they'd be asking the same question... "How the F#@! are we gonna get the water vapor out of the scope!"

Hur.

Btw, they don't look like US Army... Probably just evaluators in fatigues, if not one of their numerous civilian militias.

LazerLordz SG

Evaluators perhaps.. Laughing

Haha, the water vapor thing.. and the yellowed scope issue.Once, I asked the unit troopers, did he spill clam chowder over his rifle scope? He looked at me with that puzzled look. Twisted Evil

Incedrius SG

Nope nope, not the one im talking about. The pic Lazer posted is the SAR21-M203 we're all familiar with, with what looks like the normal m203 mounted. The pic in the link I posted is an AG-36. It's got a separate pistol grip.

I thought it looked interesting cos it seems to be mounted a little lower, so maybe the LAD can still be used. And besides, the AG-36 can use a wider variety of ammo than the normal m203 GL.

Raptor937 SG

Doesn't ST Kinetics manufacture a grenade launcher that looks like the AG36. It was featured in the SAR21 brochure, it was called CIS 40 GL.

The trigger guard looks different and the barrel looks shorter.

LazerLordz SG

Yep.I get you now.The pistol grip..seems unwieldly..But it presents a different way of firing and target aiming.Could this be used for breaching?

Raptor937 SG

Just noticed something, the SAR21 in the picture above looks like the model that uses M16 magazines.

Anyone got any more info about it?

Hellraiza SG

there is this US company that is manufacturing M203 launcher FOREND GRIP. U just clip it onto the ribs of the launcher, so it becomes like holding a SAW ultimax. Relatively cheap and has been battle-proven in Iraq by the US Army...

ST should just buy that instead of making a permanent pistol grip....seriously looks damn COCK! But to each their own eh....i'll try to find the webby and post pics here guys!

Is it me or does the stupid quadrant sight actually work?

I seem to get better results with the leaf sight then the quandrant sight. Anyone else have the same problem?

Rockhound SG

me too.....

insouciant SG

Ha ha ha... Then maybe SAF should just drop the darn quardrant sight.

Stupid thing pokes into your back when it rifle is slung at the back and it's another item that is easily lost on exercise.

cyrusv SG

Surprised
