i wan 2 sign on as a Guardsman Specialist next year but i dunno the requirement…can tel mi? THX! Then my eyesight is abt 750 to 800 degrees can i be in Guards Specialist next year? Somemore i m interested in signing on in Guards!

As an enlisted man? Specialist? Officer?
Take a trip down to ARC. Chances are , that they'll tell you the Guards scene is saturated now, and try to push you to Infantry. Which is experiencing the same problems, but is a bigger force.

guards and infantry the most saturated units now....

hard to get 2nd contract...

sign on combat medic the best...

high chance get 2nd contract...

in case u never get ure 2nd contract...u got very sought after certs and qualifications for outside jobs.....

did u noe combat medics get a chance to do GCC if they get posted to a guards Batt?

"maybe u get pp1, then maybe at the end of ten years, u realise u sick of army, ORD late twenties, hard to get job. Why not u sign short term contract, 5 years, finish liao still got money take and your youth still there?" Laughing

all by luck one la and intake too......medics have the toughest job....hump the heaviest load.....theyre well taken care of too....consider it...

being a guardsman aint that too 'safe' unless u are an officer...

that one different...but use common sense...can any of them save ppl?how much of that equipment would ppl really appreciate other than certain situations.....u cant drink a mortar round rite(*thinks of hartmann fluid now*)?.....support weapons personnel arent really well taken care of in terms of welfare either....
