ryangian SG I will be going to India next year as Admin Party 2 for my unit FATEP 1 and I like to know if I qualify for any overseas awollances as I will be gone for more than 30 days starting from 12 feb next year till 26 of march… thanks for all ur help
freedom4ever SG whether there is oversea allowance or not you still have to go. so why u still need to know?
nightzip SG i think DUN HAVE. if you going there as part of your unit/battlion or brigade to do overseas exercise etc...there will most probably be no allowance. UNLESS you are POSTED there for work, in overseas unit, something like 3-6 months.
dragg SG i went to taiwan a few times for live firing. i did not get one extra cent. maybe the rules have changed.
Gordonator SG that's is because u are going oversea with your unit, which is based in singapore. overseas awollances are only for those based in overseas camps.
dragg SG he is going for FATEP. thats a battalion live test. its the same. only that he is going to india instead of taiwan.
nightzip SG yesh, BIG NO! but think of the brighter sight? you get to spent less, cuz u not in sg for sometime, so you have no recreation like go to cinema or starbucks or etc...so when you come back, your bank account have more money.

nightzip SG just think of the free food, accomodations and uniforms you will get there. +maybe slim down abit.
relackjack SG admin party should have. i was in india this year for one whole month but i was from main body so didn’t have. sad.
