Hi, strange that someone would like to know.
I was from Nee Soon Camp and way back then, there was a regional DB
centre in the Camp itself. It was manned by SAFPU but came under
the camp commandant of Nee Soon.
As a result, those DO and BOS on duty were also required to check
on the SAFPU section guarding the DB. So, personally I have seen
what went on at the DB. As you know, it is not a holiday camp. What
I have seen is:-
1) 0500 hrs reveille
2) Muster parade
3) Breakfast in cell
4) Area cleaning
5) PT and drill lessons ( lots of shouting by the MPs and push-ups
and running around like chickens)
6) Lunch ... 30 mins max. including rest
7) more PT and drill lessons and some other work that the camp may
ask to do
1700 hrs ... own time
but in cell
9) 1800 hrs early dinner
10) 1900 counselling session ( but more like a scolding session
!)
11) 2000 hrs lights out ( subject to more shouting
occasionally)
