ditzy SG Are you kidding me? The 84 compared to the m-16, bushmaster 25mm, 75mm, 0.5hmg, and AGL 40mm is the easiest weapon I've ever cleaned in my entire conscript life. Maybe its just me.
fudgester SG I think that we're still going to have the Carl Gustav 84mm RR in the years to come. At company level, we need something more substantial than the Matador and something cheaper and more portable than the Spike. Just one thing: It seems that we're still using the M2 version, which has an unloaded weight of 14.2 kg. Do you guys think it's about time that we replaced them with the much lighter M3 version (8.5 kg)? Source: Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Gustav_recoilless_rifle
Fatum SG you guys are complaining about weapons cleaning ..... have you seen chaps from arty cleaning their FH2000 ? ...... the tube has to be pulled through too you know ! ...
Icemoon SG ya .. penetration of RHA .. the figures are given in RHA .. duno what RHA means but the first thing that comes to my mind is RHA though. I think the matador is almost on par with 84.
Icemoon SG I think M16 easier. But the 84 pull and pull the rust is always there .. cant remove one .. haha The rest not infantry company weapons. cannot compare.
Icemoon SG MG Gunner dun have M16 to clean ya know. And theirs is 3 man to a team (commander, gunner, manpacker). 84 one commander rotate among 4 guns ah?
