you are wrong there .... i went in with hokkien bengs, A'level
scholars, school dropouts, N'level chaps, poly boys, ITE grads,
even chaps who were already working outside until they were
enlisted, I'm not sure about the high IQ bit ... (cos there were
blur sotongs, like i suppose every else ) .... nor were all of us
fit upon enlistment .. (some zero fighters too) ...
NS is a great equalizer ....
btw .... i had an absent for NAPFA ... 
... something i regretted, and advise all to
take ... especially poly chappies, whose NAPFA is not compulsory
..... PTP is a waste of time, seriously ....
