hmsg SG wait long enough and you should see one..... a few are in-line... maybe in less than 5 yrs??? there a few prez scholars that went cdos.... but still young at MAJ... so perhaps another 10 yrs or so....
will4 SG I think there should be rotation for Chief of Army, Chief of Navy n Chief of Air Force to assume the appointment to be the Chief of Defence Force. This is to be fair to Navy n Air Force so that they will not felt like being marginalized.
SpecOps87 SG Well, the guy who was CDF before Lim Chuan Poh, Bey Soon Kiang if not wrong is from the navy.
LazerLordz SG It would be nice to see a decorated Guards or Commando become CDF.All the Special Forces tabs, airborne etc..
CKtalon SG Basically the current COA MG Desmond will be the next CDF.. All the past and present CDFs and basically almost all the stars are SAFOS scholars..and most of the time President Scholar..LG Ng just an exceptional one There are CDO SAFOS scholars..but I doubt they can get their star due to the CDO estab being too small?
Gordonator SG there used to be this rumour, back when Ng Yat Chung was still COA and Tony Tan the Defence Minister, Tony Tan even advised him to lose some weight before he got promoted to CDF.
