Shotgun SG · 2005-10-27T16:10:07+00:00

No, still pes b, no change in status. maybe after 1 year, then I go check with them, anyways am studying now, will probably get defered.

Shotgun SG

How long do they usually take to process this stuff... my reservist unit still not known. Not that I'm complaining... Laughing

Most of my mates already got theirs, last i heard mine was still on some holding list. Thats a good thing right?

freedom4ever SG

same here. me also holding list. Very Happy

LazerLordz SG

Me too.Holding list.

What's ur PES Status and vocation?

insouciant SG

Holding list doesn't always mean it's good.

If your buddies can called to their reservist units 1st, odds of them going ROD before you is better.

I was on holding list for 5 years. Now my peers have all ROD and I'm still serving! SOB!

If u r lucky... u might be on the holding list until the list goes to the archives...
Means u may nt even get call up. Few of my frenz ORD for 10 yrs plus liao... all pes A / B, on holding list, nw still Ba Long Long outside, no reservist news yet... Rolling Eyes

crazy monkey SG

active time not from unit ? Rolling Eyes

Kenashi SG

at least now u got the reduction from 13 yrs to 10 yrs rite Mr. Green

Gordonator SG

sometimes as early as a few weeks before ORD u will know already from your chief clerk. Cool

Shotgun SG

My chief clerk straightaway tell me holding list. I'm pes B one. Honestly I don't care lar. Call me then call lor, but never call i also can't give a hoot.

Best is they forget about me totally.

Another thing.... do u guys actually see ur "unit" at the My Unit at miw.com.sg?

crazy monkey SG

life is so unfair Sad

Shigemichi Take SG

Guess what. it's been 6 years since i last ORDied and i am under holding list too...
last time i calles NSPC, they said they'll inform me of my unit, but negative till now... Mr. Green

LazerLordz SG

It's safer if you are PES C9 and below..

Shotgun SG

Aiy… if i dun have my reservist posting, do i still have to turn up for IPPT n stuff anot?

Gordonator SG

i'm on the holding list too.

currently only says i'm a reserve at HQSCE. Laughing

Shotgun SG

wah, u formally an engineer spec or officer issit? At least one thing can confirm, u’re not bridging. =)

insouciant SG

Went for reservist recently, had a guy that was just called up after 7yrs of no call up. He was then informed that he still need to go thru entire 10yr cycle with the PDF unit.

Man, it makes a BIG difference trying to stay awak all night digging foxholes at 30yrs old versus at 37.

Shotgun SG

Okay, I better go disturb CMPB soon. Kns, Dun wanna be some uncle liao den called up for first ICT. That would be farked up.

LazerLordz SG

might not even be in SG for good by then. Laughing

insouciant SG

ha ha ha… that would be the ideal…
