wouldn't the proper definition of a man be anatomical rather then physiological? Or perhaps you want some chest thumping in addition to slinging it?

be progressive about it yah?? it kindda sucks that we didn't get it but come on, you gotta say it's a good idea.

Also, when i log into the emart in MIW, i also cannot see the items that other vocations (like infantry in SIR units or others) get leh.. simple things like ali baba bag also not in selections i can buy online leh... haiz...

Can i goto other emarts to buy these stuff i cannot get in my airbase? I scared when they scan my id card, i kena rejected and banned fr buying.. bec my vocation diff fr others... Embarassed

BTW, my vocation is infantry in FDS... ground combat troop of air force...

LazerLordz SG

I don't know about RSAF ppl coming to Army E-Marts..should not be a problem.I've been to many other e-marts to buy stuff I could not find.

tarutaru SG

Air force people cannot buy in the army e-mart. I try b4 liao despite buying common thing like no 4 rank.

monoslayer SG

yup.. i agree... somehow, carrying the ali baba bag makes me feel more like a soldier... dun intend to get the new one cos i prefer my old, reliable, trusty ali baba bag.. Cool

nismoS132 SG

i prefer carrying it. if you roll it around too much on tarmac, the plastic protection will tear.

lurpsexx SG

Haiya!! Mad

We also considered ground pounders leh... just that we work in AB only ma....

Can any of you guys recommend where to get these stuff ah??? I still got abt $200 in credits and cannot use leh... my AB emart like empty warehouse.. Haiz... unless get the Goretex boots lor....

tarutaru SG

Which camp are you in?

Shotgun SG

Goretex boots… dun even get me started on it. Go for 1 bloody field ex and the stupid seams tear.

CKtalon SG

I use the old wan..

insouciant SG

Definitely old ali baba bag more garang and definitely more durable. I remember dragging it, dropping, throwing it around and it never once tore! All thru NS, 4 overseas trips and god knows how much abuse, it stood the test of time.

But I'll be the first to admit that more than once I wished the heavens there was an easier way to carry that load.

But ya, pulling the new bag thru the airport would make me feel more like an air stewardess than a soldier.

mach10 SG

Thanks for the idea...

Mine still around... cool stuff...

fudgester SG

Hmm.... never thought of that. Kinda makes sense, though.

Anyway, the old ali baba bag was indeed highly durable and very resistant to damage. It's been thrown about, dragged, punched, used as a pillow and so on... and there doesn't seem to be any damage except for a scratched exterior.

My only major grouse about it: only one small opening at the top. A major pain in the unmentionables if you have to take out some important stuff lying right at the bottom of the bag. Confused
