I maybe wrong - but a long, long time ago - I always thought
that the navy divers also attend basic commando training and basic
airborne course. This is in addition to the diving courses. Some go
on to do sniper, scout, medic, etc, courses as well.
However - with recent changes to NS (reduction to 2 years only),
this may not be true. Even the commandos now go through a sightly
shorter course it seems.
