Calvary SG Hi will be going SISPEC this coming 19th Sep. Need to ask you seniors some easy questions Will we still have 7 hours of sleep? like in BMT. Will we be needing many singlets like in BMT we have AGR and Strength training etc. What will the training be like? example jumping from helicopter all that, chiong in forest more and more. Since we are privates will they treat us with more respect compare as when we are recruits? example, irresonable punishment durin recruits. Now punishment only when we do wrong, I mean thats more fair rite?

ditzy SG 7 hours of sleep? Hey, lights off don't mean you have to sleep. You need more no4s because you don't have much time for such training. You'll be outfield so often, you won't need a map anymore to navigate tekong. Privates? They treat your privates with more respect more likely, but maybe I'm wrong.
Ponders SG GOOD LUCK FOR SEPTEMBER INTAKE SISPEC trainees..... you are the LAST batch of trainees in tekong..... so if you think about it... you think the stuff in tekong can "magically" go to pasir laba. think harder.... where do you think they get man power??? hahaahah. actually the move is planned to be right after your sispec passing out... but lots of packing involved.
Calvary SG i already noe there will be alot of saikang after i pass out from SISPEC. i am prepared for it too. Can u tell me some of the types of "Forest chionging" trainings? e.g. More difficult BAC, Grenade assault Course, More leopard crawl. U mention SISPEC are for kids nowadays, does that mean the training had been reduced and slackened alot? I will be goin to stagmount camp after 10 weeks of BSLC. i tink only those infantry/guards staying on for ASLC will do the sai kang?
ditzy SG ASLC is more relac than you think. And those things you did in BMT, almost no chance you'll be doing them again. Like to dig trenches? Caservack your mate all the way from one end of tekong to the other? Sispec is for you!
Calvary SG Dig with hw mani ppl? used to be arnd 1 sections strength dig 1. SISPEC 2 person dig 1? Carry ur mates how long distance? 1 person or 2 person carry?
ditzy SG You dig one fire trench and try fitting 2 people inside. If you're lucky, 2 people will be digging one foxhole together. One more thing to note, you don't dig in the day. Give you one casualty, one section strength and one stretcher, it's still no joke to carry for 100m in FBO. In bmt, you carry only rifles mind you. This time you're simulating battle load.

On the day before we get our 3rd stripe, we had an informal session with him and he said this: "You know why i gave you all so much sh|ts in these 5 months? It's because I'm training commanders, not men" (sorry to OOT)
