sheesh. i'm sure i've said this before, and Gedanken has certainly
said it too - get this into your collective heads,
cdo-wannabes:
nobody knows how
they choose commandos.
so get over it. if you don't get a VA at hendon (or pasir ris now,
i believe), you aren't going to be a commando unless you sign on.
no two ways about it. no such thing as BMT, SISPEC or OCS
crossovers.
and even if you do get a VA - forget about ''model answers''. you
can go there and do 1 pullup and tell them hell no i don't want to
be a commando and u can still very well end up there. the converse
is true as well. so don't waste your time, and ours, by posting
more inane VA questions (which, incidentally, the answers to which
can easily be found by using the friendly SEARCH
bar)
specs don't mean shit - lots of people in cdo wear specs.
inconvenience, yes. but hardly one which would preclude you from
being a cdo. as for jumping with specs - you find it unbelievable?
well believe me when i say i jumped with specs. heard of a little
thing called goggles? or putting-your-specs-in-your-pocket?
i'm not sure if there's a certain degree of myopia beyond which
they make a cut-off, but u can bet it isn't twenty-goddamn-five
degrees, for chrissakes.
